Arrival to Arezzo by airplane

Florence-Peretola “Amerigo Vespucci” airport is situated 94 km north of the city of Arezzo.
By car: drive towards Arezzo on the SR69 (Valdarno regional road) or take the A1 motorway to the Arezzo exit.
By train: the new tramway T2 between the Florence airport and the city centre connects the airport to Santa Maria Novella train station. The journey takes around 20 minutes. From Santa Maria Novella it is possible to get a train towards Rome that stops in Arezzo (Trenitalia). The journey takes around 1 hour.

Arrival to Arezzo by train

Arezzo train station is located along the Bologna-Rome railway line. The station is served by daily connections with Intercity and high-speed trains to Florence, Rome and the rest of Italy. There is one main train station within the city's metropolitan area (Arezzo) and it is located in the city centre. The University of Oklahoma San Francesco Classroom Annex is located in the historic part of the city and can be reached in less than 5 minutes walk from the train station (950 m).

Arrival to Arezzo by car

Arezzo can be reached by car from Florence or Rome via the Autostrada del Sole (A1 Milan-Naples motorway), exiting at the tollgate of Arezzo (about 10 km from the city centre). There are several parking lots near the University of Oklahoma San Francesco Classroom Annex, but the closest ones is located at Piazza del Popolo, 17 (2€/hour).
